Poem

Lord, help me to live from day to day

In such a self-forgetful way

That even when I kneel to pray

My prayers shall be for others.

Help me in all the work I do

Ever to be sincere and true,

And know that all I do for Thee

Must needs be done for others.

Others, Lord; yes, others.

Let this my motto be.

Let me live for others

That I may live like Thee.

Learning to Say NO without feeling guilty:

No is a spiritual word. If is an absolute. It is not a maybe or a compromise but an absolute that has power when spoken with love and boldness.

No is a woderful word! It can protect the call of God on your life, protect your personal life, your family...

No, it can be bring success is not built on how many time you say yes, but on how many times you say no and stick to it!

No can be a very anoited word. Most people need to say no more often. Learn to say no with a smile and with boldness!

Learning to say No without feeling guilty will change your idea about saying no and bring you into a greater realm of authority and victory.

Learn to say no!

The Power of Prayer

Prayer Importance
A narrow gauge prayer is the result of a little conception. When we embrace in our prayers the widest circle of our fellowmen, we are the most in tone with the mind of God. (1 Tim. 2:1)

Prayer Beginnings
Begin with God in the morning or He will be last in your thoughts all day and it will be a day of defeat. (Mark 1:35, Ps. 5:3)

Prayer Delays
Count it a blessing when God delays the answer to your prayer for a time in order to enlarge your capacity to receive. (Ps. 37:5)

Prayer Purposes
Don't pray for opportunities fitted to your powers, but for power equal to your opportunities. Our need is not for easier lives but to be stronger men. (2 Cor.12:9)

Prayer Vigilance
Engaging in prayer, then failing to be vigilant in the life is like sowing a field with precious seed and leaving the bars down for the swine to come in and root it all up. (1 Peter 4:7)

Prayer Activity
Fervent prayer is a promoter of activity. It puts one at God's disposal for the carrying out of his part in bringing about the things God desires. (Ps. 31:3)

Prayer Seriousness
God's acquaintance cannot be made by hurried calls. He never bestows His richest gifts on hasty comers. (Jer. 29:13)

Prayer Regularity
He who tails to pray, simply because the sun is shining and all is favorable, will find his power to pray gone when storm clouds arise. (Luke 18:1)

Prayer Ground
It is not enough that prayer is offered for a good object. It must come from a right heart to be effectual. One may have good ground for asking and yet not be on praying ground himself. (James 5:16)

Prayer Importunity
Jesus never keeps office hours, nor imposes a secretary between Himself and the believer. We may go to Him in everything and at all times. (Phil. 4:6)

Prayer Essential
Knowing Him is the all important thing. To spend and to be spent in what is called "the Lord's work". When the life is out of touch with the Holy Spirit, is a pet delusion of the devil. (Eph. 6:18, Romans 8:26)

Prayer Training
Little with God means little for God. The prayer closet is the most important school for christian workers. All other training without this must prove ineffectual. (Matthew 6:6)

Prayer Definiteness
Many prayers go to the dead letter office of heaven for want of sufficient direction. Ascertain from the word and the spirit what makes youl to have and ask definitely. (Luke 11:9, 10)

Prayer Basis
Nothing is beyond the reach of prayer except that which lies outside of God's unwillingness but bringing our prayer in line with His will. (1 John 5:14, 15)

Prayer Stability
One's ability to stay with God in the place of prayer will be the measure of his ability to stay with God when he is out in the place of activity. (Ps. 119:117)

Prayer Searching's
Praying will make one lay aside his sinning or else sinning will make him lay aside his praying. The two cannot work together. (Ps. 66:18)

Prayer Quietness
Quietness in god's presence is essential. There should be more fear that we will not hear His voice than that He will not hear ours. (Eccl. 5:2, Ps. 46:10)

Prayer Period
Rushing from bed to business is the worst folly. He who thinks to save his time thus, loses time. Time invested God returns big dividends in more effective work. (James 4:2)

Prayer Outlook
Satan may build a hedge about one and hinder his movements but he cnannot root him in. When the outlook is bad, the up look is always good. (Ps. 50:15)

Prayer Power
The prayer that ascends the highest comes from the lowest depths of a humble and a contrite heart. (Ps. 10:17)

Prayer Approach
Unless we pray in Jesus name and on the ground of His atoning work, we pray in vain. God honors no drafts where there are no deposits. (Phil. 4:19)

Prayer Victories
Victory in Life's conflict is impossible without prayer. Soldiers of the Lord do their best fighting when they are upon their knees. (1 Chron. 5:20)

Prayer Unity
When believers are one in prayer, mighty poser falls. The most notable days in the history of God's work on earth are those in which saints stood shoulder to shoulder in prayer against the enemy. (Matt. 18:19, 20)

Prayer Tests
X-rays of the self life expose the failures of the prayer life. A selfish purpose in prayer always spells defeat. (John 14:13, James 4:3)

Prayer Practice
You may talk much about the philosophy of prayer, but be sure you spend more time in the practice of prayer than in talking about prayer. (John 14:14)

Prayer Objects
Zeal without prayer is wasted energy. Talking to men the things of God is important, but talking to God in behalf of men is the first work. (Luke 5:15, 16)
